Y for All
Financial Assistance | New Jersey
Financial assistance keeps the Y accessible for children, adults, and families who need us most. We count on the generosity of our members and community to help people of all ages and from all walks of life be more healthy, confident, connected, and secure. When you give to the Y, your gift will have a meaningful, enduring impact right in your own neighborhood.
The Y is an unparalleled cause for strengthening the community because we are the community. We are a powerful association of men, women, and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility. We believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors. That’s why, at the Y, strengthening community is our cause..
The Y strives to make the Y programs and services more affordable for everyone so that kids and adults can receive the educational, physical, and social benefits of our programs while reducing the stress on adults juggling work and household responsibilities with the uncertainties of life. Through our Y for All Fund, qualifying families and individuals can receive a reduced rate on Y programs. Even if you don’t think you would qualify for assistance, we encourage you to apply.

The Y requires most families that receive 50% Y financial assistance for child care and camp to also apply for state child care subsidy to receive Y financial assistance for child care and camp. In ALL cases where state subsidy is awarded, the family’s co-pay responsibility is reduced at a level much greater than the Y can provide.
