About Us

History

Established in 1915, Fairview Lake YMCA Camps has been providing Sleep Away Summer camping for grades 2-11, Environmental Education for schools, Family Programs, and Weekend Retreats for individuals and groups. We develop programs for children, adults and families to realize their potential by focusing on specific skill sets, building confidence and creating a sense of belonging.

Fairview Lake YMCA, an ACA accredited camp, sits on mile-long Fairview Lake in Stillwater, New Jersey.  Our 660 acres adjoin the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, providing access to the Appalachian Trail, Delaware River, hiking and breathtaking views. Two waterfronts are complete with a fleet of canoes, rowboats, kayaks, sailboats and windsurfers to offer a variety of activities and unlimited fun with ample trained lifeguards.

Beyond the mesmerizing views of the lake at the center of camp, we have three athletic fields, two basketball courts, two tennis courts, hockey court for in-line skaters, sand volleyball court, archery and rifle ranges, low and high-ropes courses, and indoor and outdoor climbing walls.

Our cabins are clean and well maintained, complete with screened windows, built-in bunks, storage areas, electricity, flush toilets, hot showers, and most importantly - smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. For an experience closer to nature, we also offer seasonal cabins that have amenities nearby.

In the summer, our program expands beyond our 660 acres to Blair Academy, home of Lake in the Woods YMCA Camps. Using the beautiful facilities of Blair Academy, our unique 5-days-a-week sleep away program allows children with busy summer schedules to experience the independence and growth of camp, while still leaving time on the weekends for family time. 

Board of Managers
