Healthy Kids Day® at Fairview Lake is your chance to explore new ways to help your kids stay active, confident and thriving this summer. From hands-on activities to movement challenges, we’re here to kickstart a season of healthy habits.

Water Safety Carnival - May 17

Join us for a fun and interactive afternoon all about helping families stay safe in and around the water. Together, we’ll explore simple tips and smart habits that help prevent accidents—whether you’re swimming at home, visiting the lake, or heading out on vacation. As we celebrate National Water Safety Month, families will learn, practice, and build confidence so everyone can enjoy the water safely.

Interested in General Water Safety from the American Red Cross? We'll be teaching two sessions of this FREE class!

This FREE 30 minute class will help participants understand drowning prevention and survival, and practice practical rescue skills like using a ring buoy properly!

Family Fishing Derby - September 6
September 6, 2026

2-4 PM

Cast a line and make a memory at our Family Fishing Derby! Join us from 2–4 PM on September 6 for an afternoon of lakeside fun, friendly competition, and plenty of laughs. Awards will be given for the longest catch, the smallest catch, and the most fish caught—so everyone has a chance to reel in a win! Boats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Whether you're a seasoned angler or trying it for the first time, there’s something special waiting at the water’s edge.
