Ranch Camp One Week Programs

Boys & Girls Grades 5-10 - Sunday, June 27 - Saturday, July 3, 2010
Girls Grades 5-10 - Saturday, July 3- Saturday, July 10 or Saturday, July 24 - Saturday, July 31, 2010
Our stables and riding areas are the summer home to 30 horses selected to be ridden by campers
of all ages and abilities.  Our staff provides instruction for the novice to experienced rider where participants learn all aspects of horsemanship.  Campers can select whether they ride Western or English.  Each day campers will have the oportunity to participate in swimming before dinner and traditional camp activities in the evening.

Each camper or 'Ranch Hand' is assigned a horse and is taught to be responsible for its care,
including grooming, caring for the tack, doing stable chores...and building a loving relationship with
their horse.  Then they saddle up for expert riding instruction and non-agressive training.  The main emphasis of the program is control of speed and steering using proper cues. Campers will fine tune riding skills and participate in a gymkhana finale.  Our Riding Director is a Certified Horsemanship Association Instructor.
