ETC Accomodations - Simple but Practical
The Delaware Unit
ETC campers stay in the Delaware unit during their stay at camp. For some trips this is used as
a home base from which campers explore beyond the boundaries of Fairview Lake.
Nine cabins are nestled on the hillside, each sleeping eight people - for a total of 72. The cabins
form a
semi-circle around a small, open field where groups can play games or
set up tents if
additional sleeping accommodations are necessary. Cabins are fully enclosed
with built-in bunk
beds. There are no other amenities. Each unit has
its own centrally located bathhouse with flush
toilets, private
showers, sinks, and electricity.
Food Service
ETC campers eat in the Dining Hall while in camp, but when they are off-site they pack their food out
and enjoy cooking and preparing meal over stoves and fires. This is part of the true ETC experience- campers learn to "Leave no Trace" when in wilderness areas when they "pack it in" and "pack it out".
- Our Food Service Director, Don Sienkiewicz, is available to discuss food allergies.
We are able to accomodate most camper's needs and in, partnership with parents,
we ensure each and every camper's dietary needs are met.
- We appreciate being notified of any food allergies or special dietary needs prior to camper's arrival.
