Fairview Lake YMCA Camps has a very strong Counselor-in-Training program.  The program has clear goals and expectations.  To ensure all participants are prepared for the program there is a thorough application process that each participant is required to undertake.

A note to parents!   This program is designed for young people entering 11th grade.  It is intentional that the application process requires initiative and follow through on the part of the applicant.  So please ensure that the onus is on your son or daughter to get accepted into the program.  If you as the parent have questions or concerns regarding the nature of the program, Marc Koch, our Summer Camp Director will be happy to talk to you. 

While many participants were former campers, the program is designed to incorporate successful applicants who are new to Fairview Lake YMCA Camps.
