Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program

Eligibility: 16-year-olds entering the 11th grade
Prior Fairview Lake YMCA Camp experience is not required.

2009 Dates: Friday, July 3 -Saturday, July 25, 2009

Description: This intensive three-week program offers selected applicants the opportunity to develop leadership, program, and outdoor living skills. The focus is on small group dynamics, communication skills, teamwork and values clarification. Applicants participate in a variety of exercises and challenges and have the opportunity to take the American Red Cross Lifeguard course.

Counselors-in-Training have a choice of focus areas:
