Environmental Education Day Program Food Service Options

Depending on the length of your stay at Fairview Lake YMCA for your environmental education program there are different options available:

  • Arrange for lunch in the Dining Hall prepared by our food service
  • Add dinner in the Dining Hall for extended day programs
  • Students and chaperones bring their own bag lunch for a picnic
  • Have a snack during the day or an ice-cream social

If you arrange for meals or snacks through our food service department, please note:

  • Our meals are prepared by skilled cooks and bakers adding a home cooked taste to every meal.
The Food Service Director prepares balanced menus and provides ample portions to satisfy the heartiest appetite.
Many meals feature home-made soups and salad bars.
  • Fresh fruit is available for lunch, and vegetarian options are provided at every meal.
  • Meals can be served family or buffet style with students eating together with adult chaperones.
Students take turns to wait the tables, learning to take on the responsibility of serving their classmates.
  • Our Food Service Director, Don Sienkiewicz, is available to discuss food allergies with the school.  We are able to accommodate
most needs but appreciate being notified of any food allergies or special dietary needs prior to your groups arrival.
